Maybe Kenya Moore and her estranged husband Marc Daly can twirl back in love. That’s what she’s hoping for.
A few months ago, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star announced she and her husband Marc Daly were calling it quits. However, the former Miss USA isn’t completely done with the relationship, despite the cheating rumors.
While in NYC, she chopped it up with “EXTRA” about her uncoupling from her daughter’s father after two years of marriage. She’s still wearing her wedding ring in hopes of working out her issues with Marc.
“I’m still married. I am still hopeful that we can work it out,” she said. “You know, couples go through ups and downs… We’re just two years in, and hopefully there is some rainbow at the end of this story. I’m hoping that we can find a way to get back together.”
She added, “We’re slowly just trying to figure things out and co-exist peacefully and then work on healing and maybe rebuilding the relationship.”
The couple secretly tied the knot in June 2017 and then welcomed baby girl Brooklyn Doris Daly in November 2018. There had been rumors circulating that Marc cheated on Kenya and that was the reason they broke up. However, Kenya claims that’s not the case.
“There is no proof of that [cheating]. Our issue is mainly communication and how we dealt with problems in our marriage.”
Oh.
While they aren’t together, the couple seems to have a good co-parenting relationship. Over the weekend, Baby Brookyln turned one and her dad was right there to celebrate.
“I don’t think we have a set schedule, but Marc has been in touch with Brooklyn every single day. He’s definitely seen her since we’ve been separated, so it’s working out so far.”
In a previous interview, Kenya revealed she and Marc did NOT sign a prenup and she made that decision because they're both "successful."
Oh, and get this…
If Kenya and Marc can get that old thing back, she’s down for having more children with him.
”If things were healthy, yeah. If our relationship got back to a healthy place and a loving place, absolutely.”
